Climbing Mt. Everest is the supreme symbol of man’s struggle to achieve. Hundred’s of climbers and Sherpas are trying to achieve this goal every year.I want to tell these personal stories through photography. The results are portraits of Sherpas and climbers after their final summit push. Upon reaching safety, after crossing the dangerous icefall for the last time, their emotions include a feelings of having given everything, being exhausted, angry, lucky or just tired.
